Dawn was the biggest gift to my breastfeeding journey. Her compassionate and practical approach was exactly what this first time mom needed. She listened to my concerns and provided so much helpful information without me feeling overwhelmed or pressured to do it a certain way. She is dedicated and even met with me before my baby arrived to help me prepare and set expectations. I will be recommending her to every new mom I know!

I was having the worst time trying to pump so that my daughter would have breast milk at daycare - the pump hurt, I wasn’t producing enough, and it was so difficult. Dawn came to my house, assessed the situation and determined that I was using the wrong size flange and what size I should be using. Game changer - no more pain and much more production! She’s incredibly professional and caring and never made me feel that my troubles were my fault or not important - she validated my experience and helped me find a solution, and I’m very grateful.

When my first child was born, my dreams of immediate skin to skin were shattered when she unexpectedly ended up in the NICU. My first experience breastfeeding was with a breast pump. When she was finally stable enough to breastfeed, I was anxious and didn’t know what to expect. Enter Dawn. She immediately put me at ease with her gentle demeanor and expertise. Dawn is a great support during a time that is challenging for most moms. She is easy to talk to, open-minded, and very thoughtful. She makes you feel confident that you are already the best mom for your baby.

Dawn is more than a lactation consultant, she is a lifesaver. When I reached out to her day four postpartum, I was a weeping, terrified, engorged mess, and she talked me through both the breastfeeding challenges as well as the crazy first days of brand new motherhood. I continued to rely on her through my whole 22 month long breastfeeding journey. She was my guide for latching tips, how to adjust to going back to work while nursing, pumping advice, supply issues, and, eventually, weaning support. I don’t think I would have been able to breastfeed as long as I did without her, and I cannot thank her enough!
